EUSA Conference, Assembly and Gala
Between September 25 and 28, the Portuguese city of Aveiro hosted the main anniversary events of the European University Sports Association (EUSA) - the EUSA Conference, Assembly and Gala.
EUSA was established in 1999 in Vienna, Austria, and in 2019, we are celebrating our 20th anniversary. To commemorate it, we organised our biannual conference, extraordinary General Assembly and special Gala in Aveiro, Portugal, the host city of the very first European Universities Championships event (Basketball) in 2001.
The EUSA events in Aveiro were hosted by the Portuguese University Sports Federation (FADU) and the University of Aveiro, in cooperation with the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro.
Schedule:
- September 25, Wednesday: Arrivals of EC Members in the morning and NUSA delegates in the afternoon
- September 26, Thursday: Conference
- September 27, Friday: Extraordinary General Assembly, Awards Ceremony, Gala
- September 28, Saturday: Departures
